Worship Service Information
We follow a traditional United Methodist Church Worship Order with selected changes to provide a more personal worship experience for our congregation.
What you need to know for the church services:
We say this version of The Lord's Prayer
"Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the Glory, forever.
Amen."
After the Offering is received, we sing this version of the Doxology:
"Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise God, all creatures here below:
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise God, the source of all our gifts!
Praise Jesus Christ, whose power uplifts!
Praise the Spirit, Holy Spirit!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia"
At the end of the service, the entire congregation joins hands and sings a song special to the congregation, The Old Irish Blessing:
"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind blow at your back,
May the sun shine warmly on your face.
May the rain fall softly on your fields,
And until we meet again, Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Amen."
